Announcing the 2011 Yale SOM Entrepreneurs’ Census
The Yale School of Management Entrepreneurs’ Census is excited to launch its second annual Census Survey, sponsored by Hackers and Founders Silicon Valley, NYTech.org, Ultra Light Startups, Startup Weekend, and Xconomy.
If you would like to participate in this effort, you can help by distributing our survey to entrepreneurs you know. The survey is available at the following link: http://yale.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_1HoiUxMXPdfW3xa
Last year, hundreds of entrepreneurs across the country revealed a cross-section of their activity, including:
* The most promising sources of funding
* A breakdown of costs, including labor and office, around the country
* Access to investors and advisors

The complete report from 2010 is here: http://entrepreneurcensus.files.wordpress.com/2010/05/entrepreneurs-census-final-report.pdf
By repeating the survey this year, we will uncover trends that span geographical hotspots. We also seek to understand how entrepreneurs connect with each other and the startup community.
